Horseshoe Bend and Glen Canyon Arizona

Lake Powell is a man-made lake (second largest in the USA) and the dam built at the end is the Glen Dam which is the start of the Grande Canyon. Horseshoe bend is just down the river a short distance.

This is a view as the water leaves the dam. Notice the river rafts at the bottom of the picture. They have tours that go down the Colorado River into the canyon from here.
